I’m a syndicated fitness columnist for the Chicago Tribune and Tribune Newspapers. I also author columns for the Los Angeles Times, AskMen.com and Chatelaine.com, and have written extensively for AOL and a variety of fitness magazines.
This page links to all my mainstream published work, but know that I have another site that you really should check out, simply because the URL is so awesome. Find tons of my writing at www.SixPackAbs.com.
All things considered, I’m amazed I don’t have multiple personality disorder. Some of these articles are targeted at middle-aged women, while others read like I composed them inside a locker room full of frat boys.
Regardless of voice, these published articles represent several hundred thousand words on getting inspired for health, learning to love exercise, improving performance, losing fat, building muscle, exposing quacks and frauds, and relaying practical, real-world advice about fitness.
If you want to stay up to date on my latest work, join the fun on my Facebook page.
Chicago Tribune / Los Angeles Times
My “In-Your-Face Fitness” began with the LA Times and then moved to the Chicago Tribune in 2012. These articles run in all other Tribune Newspapers including the Baltimore Sun, the Orlando Sun, Hartford Courant and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. My column has received international media attention and covered by Us magazine, People magazine, CBS News, Yahoo, and both major newspaper chains across Canada, plus a bunch of other media I’ve never heard of in countries I’ve never been to.
When my column moved from LA to Chicago, I became a regular contributor to “5 Questions” for the LA Times, which focuses on interviewing celebrities with unique health and fitness stories.
Chatelaine is a women’s lifestyle publication and is the largest circulation magazine in Canada, with a monthly circulation of over half a million and more than three million readers. I write a weekly fitness column and am a twice-weekly health blogger for their website: Chatelaine.com. These articles are frequently rerun on MSN and Yahoo.
AskMen.com is an international men’s lifestyle web-portal with over 15 million unique visitors each month. I’m a new columnist with these guys, and they let me hang it all out. Consider yourself warned.
I do a bit of magazine writing here and there.
